ROOT 52 NATIONAL PRAYER STRATEGY
I am looking forward to sharing this letter with you as I know the great impact this can have on our State. I am believing for a great shift in our State to align us with His Plans and Purposes, and I ask you after reading this to join with Cheryl and me. I apologize for the length of this letter but I feel it is important to bring understanding of what we are planning to do beginning July 16th.
I recently sent out a letter informing you that Cindy Jacobs has asked me to take the leadership position for the Florida Reformation Prayer Network. Cheryl and I were very grateful for the supportive responses we received and look forward to partnering together.
In January Cindy sent out a letter to those involved with the Reformation Prayer Network regarding a National Prayer Strategy called Root 52. This strategy is a 52 week prayer strategy to bring the Nation back to its' covenantal roots.

I would like to share some of the letter sent out on January 7, 2010 from Cindy:
I strongly believe that this strategy has been given to counter attack what the enemy is trying to do in dividing the nation, the church, the family, etc.
The first two weeks will be a special concerted time of prayer for the governmental leadership of the nation and then we will go state by state in the order that they joined the Union. By the end of the year, we will see all 50 states have a covenantal root established or deepened as we build a highway of prayer across the nation from state to state.
Part of the strategy is to make proclamations from the Preambles of State constitutions. For the first two weeks, and throughout the year, let us also pray over and make decrees from the Preamble to the United States Constitution and the United States Constitution itself. We also need to "declare" from the Declaration of Independence and pledge our nation to be "one nation under God".
As all of us have watched the deterioration of our nation concerning biblical rights being stripped from our society, it should be a matter for alarm and a wake-up call to pray for the nation more than we have ever done in the past.
I have heard two distinct prophetic words for 2010-they are "Win in 2010" and "Arise and Shine America". We have lost a number of skirmishes concerning the nation in 2009 but we are going to win in 2010! Our decree should be that America will be that city set on a hill that the reformers who came to our shores dreamed we would be. We must not back down one inch or give any ground-rather, let us draw a line in the sand and say to the enemy with a loud decree--Your time of advancement is over!
Let us stand together in a greater measure than we have ever done in the past-shoulder to shoulder in the battle for this nation until we see the Great Awakening and Reformation back to biblical worldview that we have all dreamed would happen in our generation.

Prayer for Florida begins on July 16th. Instead of taking one week for this time of prayer and fasting I felt we were to have 12 Days of Rolling Prayer. During this time we will have those involved with prayer movements from the different States focusing on Florida and praying along with us.
Our 12 days of prayer will begin in the Keys on the 16th and end in the Pensacola area on the 28th. I have attached a map with this letter that will show how I have marked the different areas of the State for these 12 days of "rolling prayer". These specific areas of Florida will have times of coming together in prayer and warfare for their region on the day assigned to them. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.
On the day your region is responsible for prayer, I would encourage you to coordinate bringing people together to pray and have different churches and leaders involved. This time will be vital not only for Florida but also for our Nation. The following is from a document written by Martha Lucia:
Florida's motto is "In God We Trust" and in Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce's book, Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation, they designated Florida first for revival: the Forerunner State. We are called as forerunners in the purposes of God, forerunners in revival, and forerunners in destiny for the Nation. Florida is an apostolic State with a governmental mantle to shift and change this nation.
In April of 2001 Chuck Pierce prophesied that "Florida is a first fruits state and "as goes Florida" is going to be how the United States goes. Florida will be the first State to put prayer back in schools."
On August 19, 2009 Cindy Jacobs prophesied that Florida is going to be a great army and that God has made Florida a great weapon in the hand of God. (Jer. 51:20) She went on to prophesy that Florida is His battle axe and weapon of war.
Some initial points of prayer for this time:
· Pray for Awakening (Revival) for your town, county, state and nation.
· Pray that the Lord will hover, bringing an open heaven to your region of Florida.
· Decree that salvation, signs, wonders, miracles come to your city and region.
· Pray for unity of purpose to come to the church of the city in your region.
· Decree that the covenant root in Florida is strengthened and fortified.
· Proclaim that our covenant connection with Israel is not cut off. Pray this on a state and national level.
· Pray for the 2010 Elections for your city, county, state and nation. Here is a list of candidates on a state and national level. http://www.uselections.com/fl/fl.htm
· Pray that Florida will elect Pro-Life government officials.
· Pray that Florida becomes a Pro-Life state.
· Pray for a quick "recovery of the oil" in the Gulf
I will close this letter with another quote from Cindy's letter regarding Root 52:
"We see a remnant arising. There is a triumphant reserve. There are those who recognize it is no longer "business as usual" and the grass roots movement is feeling the wind of resurrection blowing. If we will take our place in repentance, bowing low before God in humility with fervent prayer and fasting, seeking God's face and His heart towards our Nation, we believe that united with God and one another, a nation can be shifted."
